The commotion of the tilted Earth’s core in the Indonesian sea, what are the effects?

Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – Seismologists from the University of California, Berkeley, United States revealed that the Earth’s core under the Indonesian sea grows tilted. The report was quoted by The Independet.

The tilting of Indonesia’s underwater core occurs because the dense iron core in the center of the planet has grown faster under the Banda Sea in Indonesia.

On the other hand, the Earth’s core in Indonesia loses heat faster than other regions such as Brazil. As a result, cooling occurs faster due to the crystallization of the core constituent iron.

The discovery came to light when scientists were studying seismic waves, the underground vibrations produced by earthquakes. The waves pass through the solid iron core of the planet.

Keep in mind, the earth’s core is about 3,000 kilometers below the earth’s surface. This part is shaped like a ball and contains iron and nickel.

Above the earth’s core there is a mantle, which consists of the inner mantle (300-2,890 km below the earth’s surface) and the outer mantle (10-300 km below the earth’s surface). While the outermost layer is the earth’s crust.

Surprisingly again, this has been happening since 500 years ago. But it is not yet known why the cooling process occurs quickly in RI.

“The only way we can explain it is that one side is growing faster than the other,” said study lead author Daniel Frost, a seismologist at the University of California, Berkeley.

The discovery that the Earth’s core in Indonesia loses heat more quickly led scientists to a new conclusion, about why iron crystallization is more inclined in the west (Banda Sea) than the east (Brazil).

Researchers say there is asymmetrical growth, 60% higher to the west side. But researchers believe, this asymmetrical growth does not mean there will be records or other risks that make it unbalanced.

Even so, Frost says there are other mysteries that remain to be solved.

“The question is, does this change the strength of the magnetic field?” he said.

The earth’s magnetic field is a geomagnetic field that extends from the interior of the earth to the boundary where the magnetic field encounters solar radiation.

Simply put, the earth’s magnetic field reflects most of the sun’s angina, which is a current of charged particles from the sun that are able to ionize (decompose) the earth’s atmospheric layer.

The compass that humans use depends on the earth’s magnetic field. Animals also use the earth’s magnetic field to migrate.

Frost said it would soon conduct research again to discuss this. Frost says he has begun work on new research with a geomagnetic team to investigate some of the mysteries of the core’s tilted growth.
