Music record store “Upe” at 26 Vaļņu Street has been operating since 2001 and is one of the oldest music record stores in Riga. In 2015, within the framework of Hardijs Lediņš’s year, the store “Upe” was declared “Hardijs Lediņš cafe”.

Currently, music lovers have the opportunity to purchase Latvian and foreign music recordings in vinyl, CD, DVD and Blue Ray format with a 50% discount until the store closes.

In 2004, a branch was opened for the Upe store at 37 Krišjāņa Barona Street, which was later closed. The folk music salon “Upe” at Vāgnera Street 5 is still operating.
