Anglet has chosen to join the Covidliste application to allow volunteers from the municipality to register, in order to be called if vaccine doses are available
Anglet joined the platform Covidlist in order to become a “partner center” and invites volunteers to register. It is a real-time connection application between establishments that have unused vaccines and unvaccinated volunteers. A free solution allowing people to be alerted when a dose of vaccine is available near them.
It thus makes it possible not to lose any doses following cancellations (information on covidliste.com). Anglet is the first town in the Pyrénées-Atlantiques department to join this platform.
Vaccination is stepping up
In addition, registrations are open since Monday, April 12, 2021 for the vaccination of people over the age of 60, which will begin on Friday, April 16, 2021, at the center located at 94, avenue de Montbrun. Appointments are made via the toll-free number 0800 800 928, which is operational Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
This device does not apply to people aged 55 to 60, who are eligible for vaccination only in doctors’ offices and other pharmacies. This public does not have access to Pfizer injections, but will be vaccinated with the Vaxzevira (ex AstraZeneca) and Janssen vaccines.
