The Campo de Criptana Carnival recovers the burial of the sardine | BE Ciudad Real

In Criptana Field finalize the details to start to the Carnival parties. This Friday, the mayor of the town, Santiago Lázaro and the councilor for culture, Rosana Fernández have presented the program of activities that will be held until next Wednesday the 26th.

From the government team they defend that they have designed a program, which, as the mayor pointed out “is adapted to all ages”. The City Council ensures that the budget for these activities amounts to a total of 30.000 euros, among which are included the prizes of the contests and parades.

This year as a novelty, recover the burial of the sardine, which will be on Wednesday the 26th. As stated, the councilor for culture, Rosana Fernández, “is something demanded by the supporters clubs, and it is a way to promote this traditional carnival”

Some of the activities that the residents of Criptana can enjoy will be the Great Masked Ball which will take place at the Cervantes Theater, the children’s carnival parade that this year has been changed to Sunday 23, or the regional parade of comparsas and floats which will be on Monday 24th.
