Director Oleg Shaposhnikov says about the production: “The idea to create a cabaret production came during an extraordinary situation, when the theater’s repertoire was supplemented by new performances, but at that time they could not be shown to viewers due to public events. “Together with the Daugavpils Theater troupe, other talented Daugavpils residents – both soloists, musicians and circus studio participants – are involved in the show to highlight the greatest wealth of our city – its people.”
“Cabaret Dinabourg” features Aleksandrs Komarovs, Zanda Mankopa, Jelena Netjosina, Ritvars Gailums, Kristīna Zaharova, Natalija Kotona, Alisa May, Mark Shelutko, Alina Kalina, Luiza Prokofiev, Artyom Afanasjevs, Vanda Gibovska, Yevgeny Mevgeny Darya Shakalova, Alexander Koguce, Alisa Matveyeva, Miroslav Blakunov, Otto Kovchi, Arturs Rudzitis, Oleg Shaposhnikov, Svetlana Blazevich, Yegor Korobkov.
The director of “Cabaret Dinabourg” is Oleg Shaposhnikov, the author of the program’s libretto is Alexander Komarov, the choreographer is Irina Bogeruka, the set designer and costume designer is Inga Bermaka, and the lighting artist is Sergei Vasilyev.
The event is held in Latvian and Russian, intended for spectators from the age of 16.
