“The big Playstation news to be revealed next week”

Bloomberg believes it knows that Playstation will launch its Xbox GamePass competitor as early as next week.

Spartacus, which is the name of the project internally at Sony, will be launched with a number of the best games that Playstation has offered in recent years.

The new service will also merge PlayStation Now and PlayStation Plus. Bloomberg’s revelations are that the best subscription provides access to extended demos and streaming of games online (PS Now).

It has long been rumored a response to GamePass, because so far Sony offers nothing but bonus games as a PS Plus member, a subscription that is now part of the new package and with a much more comprehensive library.
