The Big Heart Foundation announced; The global humanitarian organization concerned with helping refugees and the needy around the world has opened the door for nominations for the eighth session of the “Sharjah International Award for Advocacy and Support for Refugees” for the year 2024, from September 5 to November 15, provided that nominations are received through the Foundation’s website, where the Foundation opens the way for Organizations, institutions and individuals to nominate any local humanitarian organization or institution working in supporting and advocating refugees in the Middle East, Asia and Africa.
The value of the award, which has been organized annually since 2017 in cooperation with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, is 500,000 dirhams.
Since its inception, the award has received more than 2,000 applications from 40 countries around the world. Maryam Al Hammadi, Director of the Big Heart Foundation, invited humanitarian organizations and change makers from all over the world to participate in the award.
