The City of Anglet postpones the eighth edition of the international biennial of contemporary art which was originally scheduled from October 20 to 31, 2020.
La Littorale will take place in 2021, still on the theme of “The Scum of the Living”.
“The confinement period considerably slowed down the production of works, part of which could not be finalized for this summer, despite the engagement until the last moment of the artists, the curator and the organizing team. The conditions are therefore not not united to give, its full measure to the cultural action around the event, “say the organizers.
The Town of Anglet continued to support the 12 artists selected by honoring the grants allocated this year, including during the confinement.
