The Béziers vaccination center is one year old!

On Monday January 18, 2021, the Béziers vaccination center opened its doors in the Zinga Zanga room. The first vaccinodrome in Hérault, it was initially operated by the public health service of the town hall of Béziers. During April, the firefighters of the SDIS of Hérault came to reinforce the municipal agents.

For the past year, the vaccination center has experienced peak times, especially during the spring and summer of 2021 when the reception of the public was guaranteed 7 days a week, including public holidays. Up to 10,000 people were vaccinated each week
by the nursing staff.

In one year, 238,415 doses of vaccine against Covid-19 have been administered, an average of 650 injections per day.

A year later, the nursing staff remains as mobilized in the face of the epidemic.
