With different musical tastes, diverse influences and a taste that extends beyond music to the world of beauty, fashion and the audiovisual, E’FEMME was born three years ago and releases its first song together on January 21, 2021: Intro. An instrumental song with a cover completely in black that would kick off a band that, more than a group, define themselves as “a movement, an independent project” that born from the need to fill a gap in the Spanish market for bilingual urban girl bands.

His first real single would arrive in a few days, on February 12, 2021, Vroom vroomwhere they make a true cover letter of their proposal and sound. It includes urban beats, autotune, synthesizers, rap, harmonies and a mix between English and Spanish. A song that today exceeds 160,000 listeners on Spotify.

Thanks to his participation in the Benidorm Fest with the song UFF!, the girls of E’FEMME have been able to experience firsthand the public showcase that the festival represents. At the end of October, when the names of the candidates were announced, E’FEMME was at the bottom of the monthly listener level on Spotify, surpassing the 6,000 barrier. To this day, however, the girlband enjoys more than 140,000 monthly listeners, a figure that has not stopped growing in the last three months.

And it is that the ability of the contest to bring the general public closer to independent artists and new voices is undeniable that otherwise would not have entered their radar for news, due to their lack of promotion on radio and the traditional media.

E’WOMAN y UFF! have the opportunity to shine tonight with their own light on the stage of the Palacio de los Deportes La Illa de Benidorm. A great song that will make us dance in this second semifinal. However, whatever the result, they have already won.
