The baby will not sit in the corner. Sinful dance awaits the sequel, with the original actress

Today, the cult American film Sinful Dance will be continued. Jennifer Gray, who played the young protagonist Frances Houseman nicknamed Baby 35 years ago, will also play in it. According to information from the Sky News server, Gray also took on the production of the film. The release date is not yet known.

The preparation of the film was announced by the Lionsgate studio this week in Las Vegas, USA. His representatives were shown a short video with footage from the original romantic comedy and a voice announcing that “Jennifer Gray is returning to the Kellermans in the next chapter.” In the original film, Kellerman was the owner of the resort where most of the story takes place.

Gray also plans to release her memoirs next week in a book called Out of the Corner, which refers to one of the key moments of the film and the message “Baby will not sit in the corner”.

In Sinful Dance, a seventeen-year-old girl with a head full of ideals during dance lessons and thanks to the company of dancer Johny, grows into a woman. Johny was played by Patrick Swayze, who died of cancer in 2009. The film has already had several television and film sequels, which, however, did not repeat the success of the 1987 blockbuster.
