After a series of rumors that grew over the days, finally the Argentine Juan Manuel Azconzábal left the technical direction of Antofagasta Sports to redirect to his country.
Through a statement, the “puma” cast reported that they reached a “mutual agreement” with Azconzábal and his assistant, Ariel Zapata, to leave the institution.
“With this aforementioned agreement, we have given Messrs. Azconzábal and Zapata the necessary facilities to continue carrying out their professional careers in their country, as they stated was their intention in this period of pandemic,” said the northern team.
It is expected that in the next days Azconzábal and Zapata will take the reins of Unión de Santa Fe in the First Division of Argentine soccer.
