From 2023 Eraneos will be the only presence of the group brand, which will employ a total of almost 1000 people and will aim for a turnover of just under 200 million francs, as AWK spokesman Yves Kaufmann tells inside-it.ch.
Transfer to a new location at the turn of the year
At the same time as the name change, the company moved from Leutschenbachstrasse in Zurich-Oerlikon to Andreasstrasse in the same quarter. Around 500 employees work for AWK and Eraneos at the Zurich location.
According to Kaufmann, customers have been informed since the summer. A conscious decision has been made in favor of a soft launch and communication to the general public will begin in November with a campaign on social media, explains the spokesperson. The company is currently in phase 2 of the rebranding, where the AWK logo is no longer used in a dominant fashion.
