One of the homes that takes a little longer to sell is it apartment in Ridderkerk. The flat is within walking distance of the center and the shops. The building looks modern from the outside. As soon as you step inside, it looks more like a seniors’ flat. That does not sell so easily among younger buyers. “Viewers step in and see the geraniums in the hallway,” says real estate agent Ron Bakker. “Then unfortunately you see the enthusiasm of the viewers dwindle.” What also doesn’t help are the outdated kitchen and the view of flats. The broker hopes for the right buyer, who can see through it. In any case, the price is favorable, says the broker. “The appraisal value is higher than the asking price.”-
