The Asturian group Losone begins its ‘Static Tour’ | BE Gijón | Today for Today Gijón

The Museo Barjola hosts this June the ‘Static Tour’ from the Asturian group Losone. On its top floor the exhibition ‘Silence in Time’, name of the last work and the accompanying disc book.

It’s about a open, multidisciplinary and interactive creative project, a I sing to friendship made to many hands. Dani Alvarez, voice and guitar of the group, explained the extensive project in the Hoy por Hoy microphones, noting that “these songs are being written over the years. The evolution of the project makes us put music on them and it seemed to us that it could not stay in something closed of the group. That is why we open it to other proposals and other ways of seeing this tribute. “

With Jandro Llaneza to the head, Juanjo Palacios placeholder image provides the sounds of the sea that are discovered when viewing the album cover image using the application designed by the group ‘Arawake’, another of the pieces of this gear. The designer Goyo Rodriguez is the author of Losone’s disco book whose images hang in the attic of the Barjola until June 27 and that can be animated through the aforementioned app.

All one choral work that was born, from the beginning of the group, as a tribute to Angel Parrilla Alvarez, childhood friend of Llaneza, author of the four songs that remind him (Angel, Statues of salt, Companion and Silence in time). The writers also knew him and loved him Xandru Fernández and Ricardo Menendez Salmon, authors of the texts that accompany the graphic work that hangs on the walls of the Gijón museum and dresses the disco book, ‘Silence in Time’ (You have to download it through a QR code). He has also been involved in the tribute project Pedro Vigil in charge of the production and recording of this third work of the group.

This is the program designed for every Thursday in June at 7:30 p.m.:

June 3: Presentation of the exhibition and the book-disc with: Goyo Rodríguez, Arawake, Xandru Fernández and Losone.

June 10: Losone concert with Antonio Toscano and recital with: Ricardo Menéndez Salmón.

June 17: Presentation and screening of the medium-length film with: Ramón LluÍs Bande y Losone.

June 24: Concert with: Losone with Pedro Vigil and choir Al altu la takes it.

Losone will record and compile audiovisual material during these events to later create new content that will continue to make this work grow.
