Hackers from the group “Anonymous” published a video in which they declare war on Elon Musk, the boss of Tesla and SpaceX, because of the tweets with which he manipulates bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies, technews.bg reports.
Millions of private investors are pinning their hopes on cryptocurrency profits to improve their lives. Of course, they take the risk themselves when investing their money because they are aware of exchange rate instability, say the “anonymous”.
“But your tweets this week demonstrate a complete disregard for the interests of the average working person. You may consider yourself the smartest person, but now you have met a worthy opponent. We are anonymous. We are a legion. We are coming“, they threaten Elon Musk.
In turn, the head of Tesla and SpaceX responded with a short tweet: “Don’t kill what you hate. Save what you love“.
Elon Musk has long been interested in cryptocurrencies and his words often affect their market value, notes Forbes. On June 4, Musk published a bitcoin emoji and a broken heart, after which the most popular cryptocurrency fell by 8%.
Earlier this year, Tesla, the world’s largest maker of electric vehicles, announced it would accept bitcoins as payment, but a month and a half later it abandoned the idea.
