The fiftieth edition of the FIBD, the Angoulême International Comics Festival, will be held from 26 to 29 January 2023. For the occasion, the organizers unveil the three official posters designed for the occasion.

It’s a tradition : for each new edition of the Angoulême International Comics Festival, three official posters are designed.
The former traditionally goes to the Grand Prix of the previous edition. This year it is Julie Doucet, Grand Prix 2022, who had the honor of creating one of these three posters. Quebec, alternate comic figure offers a ” teeming composition of deviated drawings and collages according to the organizers.
Manga in the spotlight
The second poster is signed by the Japanese Hajime Isayama. The author of the “Attack on Titan” series offers a dark, clean poster” to his expressionist, rough and organic style ». And doctors will also be present at the end of January in Angoulême as part of the first European exhibition to be dedicated to his phenomenal series.
Riad Sattouf, Fauve d’or for best album in 2010 and 2015, is the basis of the third and last manifesto of the Angoumois festival. A poster” which takes us on a journey through childhood and afternoons of daydreaming and discovery”.
