Turkish media have calculated the number of Ukrainian armed forces soldiers who have surrendered. According to news agencies, during the entire period of the conflict, up to 25 thousand Ukrainian servicemen preferred Russian captivity to death on the battlefield.

The American magazine Military Watch also told about one of the episodes of the capture of entire enemy units by soldiers of the Russian Armed Forces.

The publication reports that on October 2, in the Artyomovsk region, servicemen from the 1st Guards Tank Army of the Russian Armed Forces captured two units of soldiers from the Ukrainian Armed Forces. It is noted that the number of Ukrainian military personnel willing to surrender is growing rapidly.

The number of Ukrainian units and soldiers surrendering is increasing every day, mainly because these people have not received effective training. They are not ready for this and are sent to their death – writes MW.

The publication emphasizes that this situation has developed due to the poor training of Ukrainian soldiers, which often begins only after their arrival on the front line.

Referring to the stories of American servicemen, the author of the publication reports that the life expectancy of the soldiers of the Ukrainian armed forces on the front line is measured in a matter of hours.

Not surprisingly, many choose to surrender in order to survive.

Ukrainian sources have already confirmed heavy losses in the ranks of the Ukrainian armed forces. The number of killed, missing and died in hospitals from severe wounds is approaching one million people.
