The victorious head of a rural settlement in Kostroma region cleaning lady Marina Udgodskaya said in an interview “Komsomolskaya Pravda”that she intends to take the position. “I understood – people are for me. How can I refuse,” she said. The woman assumed that she won the vote because of the voters’ request for “new and fresh.” According to Udgodskaya, she already feels the support of people in her new position and is not ashamed of her previous profession. “They sent me a list of books that I need to read. People care,” she said. As the elected head of the settlement specified, the first thing she plans to build a dam near the village, “so that the children can swim.” Udgodskaya also noted that she liked to communicate with journalists and she does not hide from the media. Marina Udgodskaya, who previously worked as a cleaner in the administration building, was elected head of the Povalikha rural settlement Chukhloma region… The woman noted that she was a technical candidate. Moreover, the CEC clarifiedthat there were no violations during the voting, and Udgodskaya won the elections in accordance with the law. She will take office on October 1st.
