“If you want to be healthy and beautiful, then you must eat tomatoes completely or absolutely. Tomatoes contain significant amounts of vitamins C and D, carotene, calcium, zinc, magnesium, iron, and iodine and a number of other useful vitamins and minerals.

These nutrients are important for blood clotting functions, bone health, immune function, maintenance of healthy blood pressure, protein metabolism, regulation of digestive processes and skin health,” reveals Anita.

The fitness trainer emphasizes that tomatoes are an excellent source of fiber, which can help cleanse the digestive tract, improve digestion/absorption of nutrients, and promote healthy bowel movements.

Tomatoes contain lycopene, one of the strongest known antioxidants, which protects the body from the harmful effects of the environment and destroys free radicals, slowing down aging. Tomatoes are highly recommended for anyone who wants to lose a few extra kilos, control blood pressure.

“Recently, scientists have also discovered that eating tomatoes could alleviate some of the symptoms of menopause, such as anxiety, slowing of the basal metabolism, irregular heartbeat,” states Anita.

The nutrition expert emphasizes that although tomatoes can be eaten both fresh and cooked, the second option is more useful for health!

Beets.

A lot is known about the high nutritional value and health effects of beets, but there are a couple of things that Anita would like to emphasize and remind.

“Inclusion of beets in the diet helps correct hemoglobin levels and prevent anemia. They contain significant amounts of iron and folic acid, which help produce healthy red blood cells.

It has been established that regular drinking of beetroot juice helps improve hemoglobin levels and prevent menstrual disorders,” reminds Anita.
