WhatsApp, the world’s most popular instant messaging application, is preparing to implement a feature inspired by Telegram that allows users to react to messages with emojis.

According to the news in WebTekno; Finally, this feature appeared in the Android beta version of WhatsApp with the code 2.22.8.3. Some users are currently able to react to messages with emojis.

An image shared by WABetaInfo reveals that 6 different reaction emojis will be presented to the user. These emojis are; admiration, red heart, laughter, surprise, sadness and thanks. Once the feature is available, you will be able to leave these emojis as a reaction below a message.

NOT YET OPEN TO ALL USERS

According to the information received, the emoji response feature in the Android beta version of WhatsApp with the code 2.22.8.3 is not open to all users. This means that the feature is still in the testing phase. Platform officials did not make any statements about when the upcoming emoji response feature will be available.

It is not surprising that WhatsApp’s emoji response feature has also reached the Android ecosystem. Because this feature has been made available for testing purposes in the iOS beta version of WhatsApp and the desktop beta version of WhatsApp in the past weeks.
