It’s a little merry-go-round that we’re starting to get used to. Every year, at this time of year, Emojipedia unveils new pictograms which will be integrated throughout the year on the Internet and our smartphones.
And if you already can’t find your way around the current selection, it’s certainly not the addition of 117 new emojis that will make your job easier.
Organize a fondue without saying a word
We will not have fun listing the 117 new arrivals here. But impossible to resist the urge to highlight our little favorites.
In its desire to be ever more inclusive, Emojipedia once again gives pride of place to fully customizable characters – from their skin color to their gender. There are also lots of new little critters, including the sea lion, the beaver and the polar bear logically advancing in the ranking of the most cute emojis available.
Finally, faithful to the original principle which is to say always more by using fewer and fewer words: Emojipedia will welcome this year a “Savoyard fondue” pictogram. A dish which, as everyone knows, is much better than raclette.
