“That ’90s Show” is set in 1995 in Point Place, a fictional place in the US state of Wisconsin. The spin-off tells the story of Leia Forman, the daughter of Donna (Laura Prepon) and Eric (Topher Grace). Leia visits her grandparents, Red and Kitty, during summer vacation in Point Place. There she gets to know the new generation of teenagers and pushes her limits, under the watchful and slightly judgmental eye of her grandparents.
Netflix hopes to be able to sign even more actors from the original cast in addition to Smith and Jo Rupp. It is not yet known who will play the role of Leia Forman.
