Thanks to therapy, Beppie Melissen learned not to fall for wrong men anymore

Beppie has been happy with Ernest for fourteen years, whom she met through a friend. He was still married at the time. After his wife died, Beppie met him again and they fell in love. Beppie is happy that Ernest doesn’t feel the need to eat both ways. She’s experienced that before.

Big Clearance

Her first boyfriend, with whom she was together from the age of 16 to 29, had another girlfriend at one point. “Cheating should be able to survive such a long relationship, but my experience is that men can become very unpleasant in such a situation,” Beppie told Plus Magazine. “It seems like they have to convince themselves that what they’re considering leaving behind suddenly isn’t worth it anymore. It has to be destroyed…’ She no longer fears that, but it didn’t happen by itself. Before Ernest came into her life, Beppie lived alone for six years. During that period she ‘kept big clearing’ through therapy and stopped laughing at problems. Gradually, Beppie became more aware of what was good for her. ‘I didn’t want to fall for a crook anymore. They are great fun and exciting, but not good for me in the long run.’ She decided to love only people who love her. And that’s what Ernest does.
