TF5 closed due to the reactivation of an outbreak in Los Realejos | Radio Club Tenerife

The Cabildo de Tenerife confirms that one of the sources of the fire that had been declared controlled yesterday, but not extinguished, has been controlled and that it had been reactivated around 6:00 p.m. This focus is located in the municipality of Los Realejos, La Grimona viewpoint, at approximately 7:00 p.m. Tenerife Firefighters take control of this attempt. La Guancha’s other attempted attempt has been a false alarm.

Two firefighting units from La Orotava Park have traveled to the site and operating a helicopter. To facilitate the work of unloading this, the TF5 has been cut in both directions at the height of La Grimona-Barranco de Ruiz. Once the aircraft acted and the attempt was checked, the traffic was reactivated.

The Cabildo, through the Natural Environment and Security Management Area, has activated a guard checkpoint for both the Tenerife Firefighters, with 16 personnel, 12 in the La Orotava Park and 4 in the Icod de Los Vinos Park, as well as of BRIFOR that will leave 16 workers on guard both in the Orotava Valley and in Icod de Los Vinos.
