Texas closes the Port Adriano Music Festival with its great ‘hits’

Not everyone can boast of a career spanning more than 30 years, yes, with its ups and downs. the bcome scottish texas can boast of it and is immersed in a tour with which they celebrate 35 years of music and concerts. Last night, the group led by the singer and composer Sharleen Spiteri stepped on the stage of the Port Adriano Music Festival to close its current edition.

Spiteri and his crew landed last night in Port Adriano with the hymns of his long career, as well as with a new album under his arm, entitled Hi, with which they have conquered the public again. Founded by Johnny McElhone in the late 1980s, the group debuted two years later, in March 1988, and their first album, Southside (1989), which reached the top of the UK sales charts and shipped over a million copies.

Some of the songs of that LP were played in Port Adriano, an evening in which there was no lack hits as I don’t want a lover, Inner Sin y Summer Son. These songs took Texas to the top, where it has stayed and they demonstrated it on stage in Mallorca.
