Sebastian Haller I’ve had testicular tumor surgery, and it’s been a success. New striker Borussia Dortmund it will be a long hiatus for recovery.
Haller was confirmed to have a testicular tumor last week. The Ivory Coast striker was immediately sent home by Dortmund from the pre-season tour, which was held in Switzerland.
According to the Bild newspaper, Sebastian Haller then underwent surgery, and went successfully on Wednesday (27/7/2022) local time. Dortmund confirmed the 28-year-old will be out for a long period of recovery.

“There’s still talk about what kind of therapy he needs, but it’s clear he’ll be out for a few months,” said the sporting director Borussia DortmundSebastian Kehl, reported by Marca.
With his condition, Haller will be out until the end of the year. Because, the competition itself will be suspended since November, due to the 2022 World Cup tournament in Qatar.
Haller was originally recruited by Dortmund this summer. It was bought from ajax Amsterdam as a replacement Erling Haaladwho moved to Manchester City.
with Ajax, Sebastian Haller looked sharp last season. The player, who has played for Auxerre, Utrecht, Eintracht Frankfurt and West Ham United, can score 34 goals with Ajax, which makes Borussia Dortmund interested in recruiting him.
