Tesla Rumored to Build Electric Car Factory in Valencia, Spain

Rumors have appeared in the Spanish media that the electric car manufacturer Tesla wants to build its own electric car factory in this country, specifically in the Valencia region. Local media Five days available information shows that discussions have already been held between the car manufacturer and representatives of the municipality.

The municipality has confirmed that it is indeed holding talks with a car manufacturer about significant investments in Valencia, but it is not revealed with which manufacturer the talks are taking place. The media, citing its sources, reports that it is Tesla.

In Spain and specifically in the vicinity of Valencia, investments in projects related to electric cars have already been made by other car manufacturers, such as Volkswagen, which has invested 4.5 billion euros to build a battery production plant. Spanish media reports that these potential investments could be even bigger. Tesla currently has only one factory in Europe – it is located in Germany.
