Tesla applies for UK power supply license

According to a report by “The Telegraph” in the UK, the automaker Tesla has applied for a power supply license. The newspaper writes that the reason for the application is unclear.

Citing industry circles, the paper reported that the company was preparing to enter the UK energy market. Tesla had built up its electricity storage division in recent years.
