Tereshkova accused critics of her amendment of dislike for Russia

State Duma deputy, the first female cosmonaut Valentina Tereshkova accused critics of her amendment to the Constitution, proposing to abolish the restriction of presidential terms for the incumbent head of state, Vladimir Putin, in dislike of Russia. She stated this TASS.

“I’m talking about these people who don’t like the country and do everything in order to do nasty things, I don’t even want to talk about them,” the parliamentarian explained her reluctance to comment on criticism of the initiative.

Earlier deputy told about the reason for making a proposal for a presidential term in the State Duma. According to the parliamentarian, she did not express her personal opinion and the opinion of “political circles”. “People, people! Ordinary people simply asked for it. They asked! ” She said.

March 10 Tereshkova suggested remove restrictions on Putin’s presidential term after adopting constitutional amendments. Putin himself allowed his participation in the next presidential election. According to him, this will become possible if the Constitutional Court approves the relevant decision, recognizing that such an amendment does not contradict the basic law of the country.
