The relationship between the famous reality sisters Kourtney and Kim Kardashian has been tense for several months and one could even say years. This is how they have shown it in The ‘Keeping Up With The Kardashians’ and now they showed it in the new version of the show ‘The Kardashians’.
The eldest of the Kardashian-Jenner clan in the last episode of ‘The Kardashians’ showed that she is upset with Kim because she feels that her sister used her wedding as a “business opportunity”.
The problem this time is that Kourtney assured that at her wedding she used references to the famous Dolce Gabbana brand from the 90s for her outfit at her wedding that took place in Italy in May 2022.
However, for the socialite it was not right that Kim did the same when she created her collection in collaboration with the renowned fashion design brand in September of the same year and that was part of Fashion Week in Milan.
During a conversation that Kourtney had with her younger sister Kendall, she expressed her thoughts about Kim’s association with the Dolce & Gabbana brand, something the model did not agree with.
“Because it’s not about business, it’s just that there’s a lot of it and it takes precedence over hurting your sister,” called Kendall during his dialogue with Kourtney.
The issue did not end there and Kourtney sat down to talk about this issue and the problem that revolves around her wedding with drummer Travis Barker, from the famous band Blink-182.
Kim faced her sister and said: “If I had called you and said: hi, I really want to do this, what would you have said?”to which Kourtney expressed that she is not very clear, because “Because of my personality that I don’t care about things like that, I was like ‘Oh my God, do it, take the money and run.'”
And added that “It feels horrible that my sister is using my wedding as a business opportunity. She chose the money over me, which is why she never asked me. It’s not that she forgot to ask me or thought I didn’t care, I think she wouldn’t have known what to do if my answer was no.”
Given Kourtney’s explanation, Kim continued not to understand what the real problem was and the reason for the annoyance of Kris Jenner’s eldest daughter.
“I have to talk to her and explain it to her. I just want her to be happy for me. It was too big a moment for her not to be proud of.”noted Kanye West’s ex-wife.
The businesswoman even assured that at no time did she disrespect Kourney, as she always stood firm when it came to rejecting any design that resembled her sister’s wedding looks with the Blink-182 drummer.
The sisters couldn’t agree in their dispute over whether or not Kim’s collection resembled the bridal outfit Kourtney wore on her big day. Despite the disagreement and raising several issues that were irrelevant, Kim took the initiative and apologized to her older sister.
“But all this is beside the point because it happened and we are where we are. There’s nothing more I can say. I understand you perfectly. I understand you. I’m sorry. I’m sorry that my decisions have put us in this situation.”Kim expressed.
At her sister’s words, Kris Jenner’s eldest daughter accepted the apology and acknowledged Kim’s effort to admit her mistake.
