The civil Guard It has dismantled two criminal organizations and arrested their ten members, who were dedicated to theft of establishments and industrial warehouses in the Community of Madrid taking advantage that they were empty by the state of alarm decreed before the coronavirus pandemic Covid-19.
In a first performance, four people were arrested for robberies in commercial establishments and the other six were arrested in another device for stealing from industrial warehouses in the eastern area of Madrid, reports the Civil Guard.
Operation ‘Cerbero Nagoya’
The first operation, called Cerberus Nagoya, had the objective of capturing a group specialized in butrones to mobile phone companies, bicycles, motorcycles and sports equipment from different locations in Madrid.
These investigations began last March after a robbery in an establishment of Arganda del Rey, from about twenty electric bikes valued at more than 100,000 euros.
The thieves entered the trade after practicing several butrones in adjoining warehouses and then disable the premises alarm systems.
The Civil Guard managed to detect a vehicle that could have participated in the events, carrying out a detailed study on cars of that brand, and that track led the agents to the now detained.
This group he acted during the day, taking advantage of the state of alarm and the closing of establishments, and therefore they chose premises far from homes so as not to attract attention.

Criminal record

The detainees have more than 50 records for crimes related to heritage and they are charged with about twenty robberies in the towns of Arganda del Rey, Tres Cantos, Villaviciosa de Odón, Valdemoro, Las Rozas, Fuenlabrada, Móstoles and Leganés.
On the other hand, the Civil Guard has detained members of a criminal group that, also taking advantage of the state of alarm, stole inside industrial warehouses of various companies in the eastern part of Madrid.
The investigation originated after receiving complaints from three people, who stated that they had suffered robberies at their companies in Ajalvir and Loeches.
The investigations identified the entire group, consisting of five men and one woman.
They used a car and a van in their criminal movements, and while the occupants of the vehicle carried out surveillance tasks, the rest of the group accessed the premises and stole everything they found inside.
The detainees, who range in age from 31 to 43, have a long criminal history and have been brought to justice.
