One year after the tragic train accident, hearts are breaking with what the mother of 20-year-old Claudia, who lost her life in Tempe, said.
Speaking on the ANT1 show “Morning Greece”, Ms. Alma Latta reveals that she has tattooed Claudia’s face and every day she goes from Larissa, where she lives, to Tempi to her daughter’s grave.
Her statement that her daughter was burned alive at 1,400 degrees is shocking.
«I have her face tattooed and kiss it all the time. I go every day from Larissa where I live to Tempi to the place of misery, and then to her grave. My daughter studied at the Medical School and at the SSAS. He was afraid of the car and considered the train a safer means of transport. And she ended up burning alive at 1,400 degrees».
He then emphasized:I want to know who were the ones who decided to cut death tickets, resulting in the death of a girl in her 20s. For 12 minutes our children were in hell. Even Mr. Karamanlis criticized the country’s railway safety in 2019, and when he became a minister himself, he started saying things differently. A few days before the accident he assured us that everything was safe. If I knew the truth, I would not let my child use this train. I can’t rest as long as I think that if they weren’t carrying flammable materials».
I am waiting for my daughter’s soul to rest
Speaking about what awaits, he noted: “I believe in justice and I expect it to do its job, so that my daughter’s soul can rest in peace. The world woke up, albeit slowly, and the authorities were mobilized. When I saw that they were cementing the area and asked why, they told me that there was a gas pipeline under the ground and that it was dangerous not to cement it due to the high temperature of the ground from the accident. We are fighting so that there will be no new Tempi. Do not close any more houses. And if we do not strive for justice, I tell you clearly: the tragedy will repeat itself».
