Very popular, and widely used during the period of confinement and teleworking, the videoconferencing platform Zoom, has announced the launch of its own tablet.
“Zoom for Home”, produced by a partner company, DTEN ME, is a large tablet equipped with 3 high resolution cameras and 8 microphones on which the Zoom software is pre-installed, offering immediate, simplified and customizable access to different features of the video service.
Users will also be able to connect the tablet to a computer and use it as a second screen via an HDMI cable.
The equipment is available for pre-order on the DTEN ME site for the sum of 599 dollars (525 euros), and deliveries must begin in August.
According to Zoom’s boss, Eric Yuan, ” after having experienced teleworking ourselves for the past few months, it was obvious that we had to innovate with a new category of products intended for remote workers ”.
And to add: ” I am extremely proud that our team continues to think outside the box and proves that Zoom is the best unified communications platform to meet the needs of different types of users.« .
