The “intelligent underwear” is intended to temporarily silence the wearer’s smartphone in order to focus on more togetherness and real relationships. The first edition, Telekom said today, was sold out in no time.

With the reissue of intelligent laundry, Telekom hopes to gain attention and stimulate discussions with humor.

A “Connected Underwear” package is available for 25 euros. The combination of sizes and style (m / f) is freely selectable. A package contains a pair of underwear and two LoveChips. The Bluetooth transmitters can be integrated into the underwear.

The LoveChip is connected to the ‘Connected Underwear’ mobile app. It is automatically activated by movement when worn and sends a Bluetooth signal to the partner’s smartphone within the LoveZone (radius of 5 meters). The partner receives a message on his smartphone. This invites him to switch on the LoveMode. If approved, a LoveMode playlist will be played. In addition, a romantic screensaver turns on.
