Now calls to Telegram have become more attractive for users, because the developers have redesigned the appearance of this function and introduced new animations and backgrounds. The latter will change depending on the stage of the call – the call, the conversation itself, or already completed. The Telegram support team was also able to reduce power consumption during a call, which should help the user save battery power. The accomplished “magic” with power consumption should also have a positive effect on making calls on older devices. The developers have made it clear that they will continue to improve the call function in the coming 2024, paying attention to both improving power consumption and increasing connection stability and sound quality.

The latest version of Telegram for Android has introduced the so-called “Thanos click” – that is, using the animation of messages turning into dust when deleted. Let us remind you that previously this “trick” was added only for iOS.

An important functional innovation of the update is the expansion of the capabilities of bots in Telegram. The developers are announcing dozens of innovations, including the ability to send reactions to messages, manage such reactions, as well as manage quotes and links with the ability to respond in other chats. The support team also announced that bots with admin rights in channels can now receive information about prize draws and user votes.
