Telecommunications Stocks in Jakarta Weaken: TLKM Falls, EXCL and ISAT Fluctuate

Share prices of several telecommunications majors weakened in today’s stock trading. Shares of PT Telkom Indonesia Tbk (Persero) Tbk (TLKM) were seen to have weakened significantly.

Cited from RTI data, Monday (6/5/2024), TLKM shares were at IDR 3,060 at 11.21. TLKM shares fell by IDR 100 or 3.16%.

TLKM shares opened at IDR 3,180 or had strengthened compared to the previous close at IDR 3,160. However, the company’s shares with the state then weakened. TLKM shares have fluctuated between IDR 3,060 and IDR 3,200 so far.

The minimum stock allocation was 99.39 million shares with a transaction value of 308.97 billion IDR. These shares were traded 18,049 times.

Shares of PT XL Axiata Tbk (EXCL) were also seen weakening in the afternoon. These shares were at IDR 2,470 or down 0.40%.

EXCL shares opened at IDR 2,500 or higher compared to the previous close at IDR 2,480. Then dilute the stock. So far, EXCL shares are moving at the level of IDR 2,450 to IDR 2,510.

Meanwhile, shares of PT Indosat Tbk (ISAT) were seen strengthening. ISAT shares were at IDR 10,750 or an increase of IDR 125 (1.18%).

These shares opened at IDR 10,525 or lower than the previous closing level of IDR 10,625. So far, ISAT shares are moving in two zones between the level of IDR 10,475 to IDR 10,775.
