A 16-year-old teenager, an influencer from Marseille known by the pseudonym “Pirouette” on TikTok, has been remanded in custody after a shocking video was broadcast on social networks, we learned, confirming information from Provence.
The video in question shows the young man violently beating another teenager, then forcing him to perform oral sex on him. The scene, filmed by a third party, was widely reported on the Pharos platform, dedicated to the fight against illegal content on the Internet.
The Marseille public prosecutor’s office opened an investigation following these reports and entrusted it to the departmental directorate of public security (DDSP). The investigations revealed that the facts visible in the video were very real and linked to an assault reported a few days earlier. The suspect was taken into custody on April 4 and presented to an investigating judge 48 hours later.
He allegedly demanded money from his victim
According BFM TV, the influencer also allegedly demanded money from his victim. He was indicted for “intentional violence and gang rape under the threat of a weapon”. In accordance with the requisitions of the prosecution, he was imprisoned in a penitentiary establishment for minors.
Although the original video was removed from Snapchat, it quickly went viral and remains accessible on some social networks. Prior to his arrest, the influencer posted another video on TikTok, in which he issued threats to those who criticized his behavior on social media.
