The young woman, invited to the teenager’s home to Montpellier, whom she knew from a few evenings, was lured into an ambush. After starting a conversation, the 13-year-old minor allegedly invited the victim to go down to the basement to smoke cannabis. It was there, in the common areas of the building, that the teenager brutally attacked the young woman, accusing her of having stolen clothes during a previous evening, before robbing her. This scene was recorded by a 15-year-old accomplice. The video was posted on social networks.
On Wednesday April 10, the two teenagers appeared before the juvenile prosecutor’s office to answer charges of aggravated violenceextortion and dissemination of images linked to acts of violence. They were released under conditions, including not having contact with the victim, while awaiting their summons to appear in court.
