Three years after starting his own business, MR Productions, Majorik Robert, 15, officially launched it on Friday July 7 in Coteau-du-Lac.

For the occasion, the young entrepreneur was surrounded by collaborators and guests who had agreed to participate in the recording of podcasts live from the Wilson Pavilion where more than a hundred guests had gathered for the occasion. An event that required more than two months of work for Majorik and his team.
« I started my business three years ago because I was tired of hearing some people say that young people never do anything good or that they are lazy. I wanted to prove that you can also be responsible and trustworthy “, he launched when met in the dressing room behind the stage of the Wilson Pavilion a few minutes before the opening of the evening alongside his friend and employee Samaël Bourgeois.
Before Majorik and his guests entered the stage, the guests were entertained by the talent of a young disc jockey of the region.
A teenager who thrives on projects
Since he set up his company, Majorik has accumulated projects. He hosts the podcast “Viens-tu jaser”, Hello Radio, a radio show, signs a blog in addition to being entrusted with various mandates such as, most recently, the animation of the National Day celebrations in Coteau-du-Lac. .
« Whether for this launch party or in my projects in general with the company, I am lucky to be able to count on the support of collaborators, but also of my relatives such as my parents and my friends who give me a hand on the professional plan. It’s always a nice surprise when people trust us. It allows us to demonstrate the extent of our talent, but also to introduce young people who are passionate about the arts and entertainment industry.”
Besides being his own boss and managing other employees, Majorik is also…a high school student. ” The last few months have been intense with the end of school and exams, but I was able to get through it thanks to those around me. I am proud of the evening that we are about to deliver to the people who are in the room”, he added.
In his personal projects, when they take place behind a microphone, Majorik and his team do not hesitate to tackle various themes. ” We can talk about mental health, anxiety and depression, which are subjects that also affect young people, contrary to what one might think. On Instagram, some of our episodes have 115,000 plays, which is a lot. It proves that the subjects are of interest,” mentioned Majorik and Samael.
Impressive dynamism
On the sidelines of the MR Productions launch party, Néomédia was able to talk to two of the three guests of the evening.
Interpreter Pete Fortier said he was inspired by Majorik and his team. ” It’s nice to see such inspiring young people. I too come from the area and he has a beautiful dream in which I am happy to participate and encourage a fellow citizen of the region.
