Spirit Airlines had a technical problem that caused delays in more than 90% of its flights this Thursday.
As reported by NBC 4 New York, the company explained in a tweet that the malfunction affected Spirit.com, the airline’s app, and its customer service points at airports, leaving them out of service.
The company reported that the problem occurred at 8:30 am and it was not resolved until 12:07 pm.
“We apologize for the delays and inconvenience and are now returning to our normal mode of operations,” Spirit said.
In addition to the delays, 4.7% of flights were cancelled, according to Pulse by Anuvu.
