Taking Dying Light to a New Level
statementAccording to Techland, we dream of making Dying Light the ultimate zombie gaming experience for players around the world, pushing solo and online modes to a whole new level, and we want to make sure we live up to expectations for our first new IP in almost a decade. In order to achieve those goals, we have decided to partner with Tencent this time.
Techland fully owns intellectual property
It has been suggested that Tencent will become a major shareholder going forward, and partnering with Tencent will allow the company to go full steam ahead in executing its vision for the game. Techland also declares that it will retain full ownership of its intellectual property, retain creative freedom in its development, and continue to operate in the way it believes it is right. Paweł Marchewka will continue to serve as CEO.
