The announcement was made some time ago with unfortunately still minimal information. We have received some information that is sure to cause anticipation, from how it will offer a larger world vertically to a variety of new actions that can be anticipated. That’s right, we are obviously talking about a sequel to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild that has always been introduced with the number “2” behind it to confirm its identity. But in the latest Nintendo Direct, the official name has finally arrived!
With a short 1.5 minute video, the game we called Breath of the Wild 2 or “BOTW 2” finally has its official name. This game will be called The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom! You can see some exploratory action that the main character, Link, can now do, who doesn’t hesitate to freely jump from the area above the sky to land and use a system such as an elevator in addition to the climbing action to move around the area opposite.
Even better news? Finally, it also has an official release date. The Legend of Zelda: Tears of thee Kingdom will be released on May 12, 2023 exclusively for Nintendo Switch. What do you think? Looks interesting?
