Thiruvananthapuram: The body of beloved Malayalam actor Anil Nedumangad was cremated. The body was cremated at the Nedumangad family home following corona standards. The culture was at night.
The body was brought to Thiruvananthapuram around 7 pm after completing post-mortem and coronary examination. The body was later laid to rest at Bharat Bhavan and at home. Many people, including dignitaries from the arts, culture and politics, came to pay their last respects. Adjustments to the public view were made according to corona standards.
Anil had an accident at Malankara Dam near Thodupuzha Muttam in Idukki at 6.30 pm last day. When he went to bathe, he was caught in a trap. He was rushed to hospital but died later.
