4,600 more students
The SNPDEN, ID-FO and SGEN-CFDT unions, which represent management staff, are also sounding the alarm. 4,600 more students are planned in the colleges and high schools of the Académie de Lyon (Rhône-Ain-Loire) with 100 additional FTE (full-time equivalent) including 82 in overtime. Only 18 positions need to be created.
“Concretely in the establishments, it is only a few teachers who will still be able to support the increase in the number of overtime hours even though positions will have to be abolished in their discipline”, warn the unions.
In Lyon, the teachers joined by the students, met at 2 p.m. this Tuesday at Place Guichard (Lyon 3rd). They will demonstrate to the rectorate, rue de Marseille (Lyon 7e).
