Taylor Swift Makes History with Speak Now (Taylor’s Version) Reaching Number 1 on the Billboard Chart

Taylor Swift continues to string records. The re-release of her third studio album from 2010 entered the US album chart at number one. Until last week, Swift shared this record with Barbra Streisand.

Speak Now (Taylor’s Version) comes in at the top spot, giving Swift her twelfth number 1 ranking. No other woman managed to achieve that before, reports Billboard.

The singer is also the first woman to reach the top 10 on the album chart with four albums at the same time and the first living artist to do so since 1966, when Herb Alpert was in the top ten four times, Billboard reports. In the meantime, only Prince managed to imitate him. After his death in 2016, the singer was in the top 10 five times.

Next Speak Now (Taylor’s Version) to stand Midnights (5), Lover (7) in Folklore (10) at the top of the Billboard chart this week.

Swift is also in the top ten in the Dutch Album Top 100 with four albums. Just like in the United States Speak Now (Taylor’s Version) on 1 and are also Midnights (4) in Lover (7) still popular. Folklore however, has been exchanged for 1989 (8).

The singer is currently touring America for her The Eras Tour. Swift will be in the Netherlands next July. Her three shows in the ArenA are sold out.
