Taylor Swift broke the Beatles record

She reached the record with her newly recorded album Fearless, which, after its original release in 2008, has now been reissued. Folklore, released last July, and Evermore, released last December, reached the top of the island charts.

For fifty-four years, the Beatles were the first to have 364 days in the UK Albums Chart between 1965 and 1966, number one on Help! (August 1965), Rubber Soul (December 1965) and Revolver (August 1966). Swift is also the first solo performer to have three albums in one year in this chart.

She recorded Fearless after a lawsuit over the ownership of the original records with businessman and manager Scooter Braun. The new version called Fearless (Taylor’s Version) is her seventh album, which reached the top of the UK Albums Chart.
