Movement of military equipment on the republican roads is forthcoming in the coming days.
This is related to the exercises that are being held in Bulgaria, the Ministry of Defense assures.
On Sunday, there will be a movement of military and equipment from Stara Zagora, Haskovo, Yambol, Blagoevgrad, Vratsa and Smolyan via Haskovo to the Koren test site. It is about the exercise of the military from the air defense formations and the Alpine Regiment.
Every Monday and Friday from Plovdiv to the Tsrancha range and back there will be movement of equipment and military of the Special Forces.
Helicopter flights from the US Army in Europe from Romania to the Novo Selo training ground and back are also scheduled for March 18. The flights will be performed within the framework of the joint Bulgarian-American training “Joint Training”. It is being held from January to June this year as part of the joint exercises of the Bulgarian Army in the country and abroad planned for 2021, the Ministry of Defense announced.
The joint exercises increase the combat capability of the Bulgarian Armed Forces and contribute to the interoperability in national and allied format, the Ministry of Defense assures.
Information about the movement of military equipment in our country has become more frequent since the beginning of the conflict in Ukraine.
