Three hundred and two (302) new cases of infection with the coronavirus (Covid-19) and two hundred and thirty-six (236) healings have been recorded in Morocco in the last 24 hours, the ministry announced on Thursday. of Health.

This new report brings to 18,264 the number of contaminations in the Kingdom since the first case reported on March 2 and to 15,872 the number of people fully recovered, i.e. a cure rate of 86.9%. As for the geographical distribution of new cases, 119 cases were recorded in the region of Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima (110 in Tangier, 6 in Larache, 2 in Fahs-Anjra and 1 case in Mdiq), 83 cases in the region Casablanca-Settat (80 in Casablanca, 2 in Mohammedia, and 1 case in Benslimane) and 44 cases in the Marrakech-Safi region (40 in Marrakech, 3 in El Haouz, and 1 case in Safi).

Similarly, 32 cases were identified in the region of Fès-Meknes (24 cases in Fez, 6 in Meknes and 1 in Sefrou and 1 case in Taounate), 9 cases in the region of Dakhla-Oued Ed Dahab (Dakhla), 6 cases in the region of Rabat-Salé-Kénitra (3 cases in Rabat and as many in Témara), 4 cases in the region of Oriental (Oujda), 3 cases in the region of Guelmim-Oued Noun (2 in Tan- Tan and 1 case in Guelmim), and 2 cases in the Drâa-Tafilalet region (1 case in Midelt and the same in Ouarzazate).
