Tallinn Music Week festival postponed to autumn / Article / LSM.lv

The international music festival Tallinn Music Week (TMW), scheduled for June, has been postponed to the autumn. It is planned that the festival will take place from September 29 to October 3, reports information on the festival website. –

Commenting on the decision, the representative of the festival stated that one of the most important goals of TMW is to support international cooperation in the Estonian music and culture sector. The organizers hope that travel restrictions will be eased in the autumn, which will allow more people in the European music industry to attend the event, as well as offer a wider range of foreign artists.

With the relocation of the festival, the festival organizers have extended the application for musicians who want to perform within the festival.

It is planned that the festival will consist of three elements of the program – a music festival of different genres, which takes place in different places throughout the city, a music industry conference and a city festival that will offer to get to know Tallinn. The festival program will be announced starting in May.
